Voices from the Land: A Collaborative Series by The New Harvest Project and Farm School NYC

This collaborative project centers the voices and perspectives of farmers in our network who span urban to rural farming practices. The New Harvest Project conducted interviews and supported the writing of farmer op-eds that speak to a wide range of policy issues impacting urban and rural agriculture.

We are grateful to each of these dedicated land stewards for courageously sharing their experiences, speaking truth to power in naming the challenges and possibilities within their field, and creating a space for legislators to listen and create policy that supports farmers across the spectrum of growing spaces.
