Connor brings a robust background in education, program administration, and urban agriculture. Prior to joining Farm School NYC, Connor lead workshops at Brooklyn Grange rooftop farms with City Growers, highlighting food systems, bees, chickens, and compost. Earlier in his career, Connor engaged youth with farming at Hawthorne Valley Farm, a biodynamic, organic farm in New York’s Hudson Valley, during the summers of 2012 and 2013. He then coordinated education programs at the Brooklyn Museum from 2014-2016, where he trained in pedagogy, social justice, and LGBTQ diversity.
Connor is passionate about connecting communities with urban agriculture as an opportunity to nurture social, personal, and environmental wellness. He firmly believes raising and eating insects provides a tasty solution to sustainable agriculture.
